what i experienced as helpful is curcumin as a capsule formulation with enhanced bio availability called "curcuflex". Is is at least as helpful as LDN. My senses come back (smell, taste, feeling in the hands and feet) i can perform better cognitively as well as mathematically and it has zero side effects. I started with 2 pills a day, i'm now at 4.
I will take it until i have a better solution (the cancer drug maybe).
Thanks for all the articles and this post Dee. Medical fatigue I can relate too. LDN has helped me with the fibromyalgia burning muscles but not really dented the fatigue element....Something which has definitely changed for me since treatment is tolerance towards medical drugs. I got given a few valium by the Doc because of anxiety and just a small dose amplified my sense of being unwell. I also tried a provigil ... the same result. Will give NADH a go...it certainly feels like that the interferon messes up the brain amino acids and then performs a personality bypass operation.! So wonderful that you are experiencing happiness again Dee.
This article is fascinating, I wish everyone could read how the interferon messes up the amino acids etc in our brain.
I really appreciate I am always looking for something to help me even more.
i do drink protein drinks with branch chain amino acids which are supposed to help. I take 500 mg of l'tyrosine in the morning on an empty stomach. It does seem to help me. When I first finished tx I tried NADH, it helped, probiotics helped. I tried ritalin, ugh. I tried provigil, it kept me awake. Over time I have actually felt happiness again.
I wish you all the best
Dee.
Thank you
Thank you for commenting., It took me forever (years) to feel happy again, to feel like me, to feel alive.
Every once in a while I do too much I get so tired I have to take a nap
Otter thanks for the article. I do take l'tyrosine every morning to try to help chemicals in my brain.
Thanks for the post!
Interesting affirmation of the issue - I've reached SVR, why do I still feel awful?
If you go to the bottom of his article you can see all the articles he has written. Again, I hope this helps someone who is suffering with medical fatigue
