?? reading blood work results

I see everybody posting that their results say UND or undetected.  Mine never have, they only say <43, < 2.3 log.  Is there a difference in the tests that are being done or have i never been undetected?

if you want to see those words do a qualitative test instead of aPCR.  it will simply state "detected" or "not detected".

Ummm,  no i  wasn't sure, i am at work and did not have the blood work with me, but you are right on those numbers, ( i got one number right!) LOL, I finished treatment about 2 weeks ago and was looking through all my copies of blood work and noticed that none of them ever said UND like i see all the time on here. Thanks for your input.

They will be changing the lingo from undetected to unqualifiable.

You’re fine. These PCR tests don’t quantify to zero; they all have a ‘lower limit of detection’.

The 43 IU/mL is a common lower limit of detection; are you certain it also says ‘log 2.3’ as well? I think the log value for 43 should be expressed as ‘log 1.63’.
