Amen! Do let us know results ASAP! Fingers crossed!
I want to say Good Luck to all of us on this journey, not just us three. When I read it back it sounded a little three sided! LOL I want us all to have the best results! WE are all going down the same road.
I went to my Dr. appt today, they called me in a day early. Did my regular labs then I ask Doc will they do a viral load next week and she said " I will be right back" When she came back she said "go back to lab, I want to do a viral load now and then we will again at 8 weeks on your next appt". I got stuck again so here's hoping!!!! I should know as soon as they put it in my chart. And Mac I am not on a clinical trial. I have a new doc who took the place of my first doc on hep c when she moved out of state for new position. This doc is nice but not as talkative as my first doc was.Good Luck to all three of us on this journey.
I agree the waiting *****! Hoping you hear great news soon...Mona
B: Wishing you all the best on ur EOT labs. Life with SVR will be wonderful. Keep us posted...be well

Hey, If you are in a clinical trial like me, the results are dependent on how fast the manufacturer's approved lab does the viral load quantitation. The manufacturer paying for my trial does not allow the hospital conducting the trial to do the blood work, so my results are always delayed by 2 weeks. It used to take 7-10 working days to get the PCR RNA viral load, but now it is done in a week at the very most. There is so much demand for these tests, the amount and quality of viral load testing apparatus has gotten a lot better. Week 4 is pretty much the "gold standard" to ascertain if you are going to be a responder or not. They will be looking for a "ND", (not detectable) viral count. Then, depending upon who is paying, or how the trial in conducted, they will decide whether to keep treating you. Best of luck to you, I am in the same boat. I am waiting 16 days to find out my Week 4 results, which will happen on 9-19. It can really be insomnia producing if I allow it, sometimes I simply can't keep myself busy enough, or get tired enough, to block out the anticipation, or get a decent night's sleep. We'll both know soon enough. Good Luck To You, Mac
Seems to be the new thing to do ! Lol thanks
I will check with them next mon . After I went for labs today my pharmacist called to check in with me . As expected my RBC and platelets both went down . Not to (critical ) levels ,wanted to know how was doing if I wanted to lower RIBA . I said not unless absolutely needed. These results were from 2 weeks ago .there seems to be quite a lag time ,hopefully they have an online site as you mentioned. Really don't need any extra anxiety . It's going to be a long week .
I have my chart from my medical online. I can see my blood test results as soon as they are put in by lab. Usually only 24 hours has passed then I can view them online. Check to see if your medical clinic or doctor offer this. I was told how to check my ALT and AST from the results to see if they are coming down because my Doc is not giving me a viral load until week 4. I just took the 3rd week ending pill so 1 more week before the viral load test. I am wanting and expecting a good report for both of us! And everyone else who has started treatment. I am Sol/ OLy and no sides. Oh, ALT and AST came down from 37 to 22 and 23. So I am headed in the right direction!!
Hurry up and wait : -). Praying all is well. Pat
