You said you were taking steriods for pain. My last doctor was giving them to me for really bad allergies. After about three months he wouldn't give them to me no more. He said because of the Hepc. I ask my doctor I have now to give them to me, but he won't. Are they bad for the liver? I take Zrytec and it doesn't even really help my allergies. The steriod shots worked great!
You're probably like most of us and would like to see a more dramatic drop but it's heading in the right direction and that's a good thing. I wish you the best. Mike
Normal on this test is 136. On July 3rd it was 154 and went down to 149.
All the labs go up and down, nothing is normal except my ALT and AST. At least my ANC is 1.3, so no Neulasta for me next week, I hope!
Normal range for alkaline phosphatase can vary more than other values from lab to lab so look at your lab's normal range. Quest high normal is 125 and I have seen them as low as 117 and as high as 147. Check to see what's normal range on your lab results. Mike
Santa Cruz was very pretty and everyone had a blast, except me. I forgot my pain meds and lay on the beach with a bunch of people waiting for a concert to start. Got hit on by some guy. Luckily after 3 boring hours john and the kids came back and rescued me. Ended up at home at eleven o'clock worn out. All the grandkids will be here today. Another one just showed up, so I gotta go. Another day of trying to have some energy, when I don't have any!
That is so true! It used to happen with my kids too.. all injuries occur 10 minutes after the doctor leaves for the weekend!
Look alkaline phohsphatase up on wikipedia they have a good explaination sorry I didnt link you, I lost it somehow ( must have forgotten to hit copy!)
I wouldnt worry too much as 140 is still within normal range, maybe a tad on the high side of normal but normal still. I do believe the drug therapy could make it go up too so try not to worry yet.
How was Santa Cruz? Hope you guys all had a blast.
