Back at work

Stopped treatment 8 April and back at work full time for a while now.  Did anyone find they had caused damage to their work relationships during treatment when the brain wasn't working properly?  If so, what did they do to fix it post-treatment and when well again?

Hi, Jankar, so good to see you here.  I don't really have any experience to answer your question (self-employed, only have to deal with my biz partner, and that's been easy), but I did want to pop in and say hello to you.  I still don't feel like I'm back on full brain-power yet (ended tx the day after you) but gosh, do I feel better overall!

I checked out your journals, hope you're doing well otherwise.

Cheers.

Jankar, I suspect that when I finish treatment (one shot to go) and when I'm back to feeling more like my usual self that I will find that I've alienated people at work too.  I pretty much kept to myself during the past year because it was too hard to try to keep up with the social aspect AND get my work done...something had to give.

Food always works as a peacemaker at our office.  :)    Cookies, bars, bagels, whatever.  Everyone likes to eat.

Maybe your situation isn't so simple that food can help, but just hang in there and be yourself and they will come around once they see the "old" you is back.  Did your work people know about your treatment?
