Back in the Saddle

Well I'm back on treatment after stopping my initial tx after only 6 weeks.  I stopped the first tx for a few reasons - the biggest being change in taste buds and horrible ulcers on my tongue.  I changed doctors and am now on tx again.  Prior to starting this round two weeks ago, my liver enzymes were 750 and 520.  I've not heard of anyone's being that high before, and that really scared me.  My initial vl was only 755,000 (before the first tx), but it went up to 2,136,000 prior to starting this time.  I will be on shot 3 this Friday.  Overall things are tough, but somehow doable.  I have different side effects this time.  I'm seeing the doctor every week and feel like I'm being followed more closely this time.  I just wanted to reach out once again.  Best of luck to everyone!

Hang in there.  Your counts will drop each week more than likely.   You should have a PCR on week 4 and that will give you lots of info. The sides can get you but mine lessened up about the 3 or 4 month.  Still there but not as bad.
