skin fungus

Anybody had trouble with tinea fungus on treatment? I have one under my nose that will not go away using over the counter stuff.Wondering if low wbc's is the cause of all this (duh). I had this same thing 20 years ago, stayed around for months, finally went away. About 2 or 3 months into tx it started to grow again, sure is funky looking. Anybody got any tips?
Tried to get my dr. to rx something, he was out of town at the time, one of their other docs rx'd lamasil, pharmacist said you can get this same exact thing otc and save 60 bucks, I'm thinking "Gee, thanks for nothing, Doc" . Anyway, this thing is just not responding to any of this otc stuff, I tried 2 and 3 at a time;  got nothing  HELP!!!

That may depend on which liver disease you have.  Most of you guys should't take the steroids because they reduce the immune system, but for my liver disease that's what I take to keep me alive.  I would agree steroids could be bad news for those with Hep C.  But then here I go talking about things I don't really know anything about ....  Sorry.  I agree, you should do a little research on that.  Pattie
