Blood in vomiting

My cousin has HCV for last 6 years. She is 24 years old. Her HCV RNA by PCR Qualitative is DETECTED. Ultrasound and X-rays is normal. Hb is mild low. She often vomit and blood is visible in vomit.... What may be the cause of blood in vomit?

There are no doctors on this forum and it sounds as if your cousin seriously needs to see her GP or liver specialist. The reason for this one symptom could be multiple and varied.

Causes

The upper GI tract includes the stomach, mouth, throat, esophagus, and the first part of the small intestine. Blood that is vomited may come from any one of these places.
