Blood results show....

I had my blood test today and the results were 58/202. My GI doctor said my enzyme levels were high and want to do more test. Is this serious should i worry about Hepatitis??? My primary doc already said from the xray 7 month ago my liver looks swollen? but not to worry about...

Thank you so much for the input I dont consume alcohol. Do marijuana occasionally. I had sever constipation for 7 month and my doctor put me on Miralax. My GI doctor called me to tell the result and will do more blood test this week. Will keep u post.

Elevated liver enzymes can be the result of liver disease, but it also could be any number of other things -- too much alcohol, certain medications, extreme muscle exertion, just to name a few.  If you are concerned about hep, your doctor can order a simple viral hep panel to determine if that might be the cause.  Good luck. ~eureka
