Brain Fog

Hi everyone:

Hope you're all feeling good today. Have a post-tx question to all you who have finished. I thought that after approx. 4 months after stopping meds that I had cleared up the brain fog issue. But, it seems to come and go now. Some days are really good and other days I can't remember what someone just said to me. Kind of scary. Hoping you guys will share your experiences with me.

Thanks and have a good day and weekend?

Laurie

P.S. Anyone heard from Travelmom about Amanda's biopsy results?

I finished nearly a year ago and my brain is terrible.  I can't remember things people have told me, things ive said to others, what went on yesterday etc etc.  I havn't read a book for ages - I took one on holiday recently and kept drifting off at a tangent and forgetting what i'd read! Sometimes I think im going down with Altzeimers!  I exercise regularly, and feel pretty healthy but this is bugging me.  I am going to the hospital on Monday for 1yr check, so I will mention it (if I remember)!!!

terriri- I was taking Pegasys

Britgirl - you raise a good question.  I found that the Pegasys left me a little spaced later in the day of the shot but overall I often thought what some may call brain fog (in my case, more prone to errors etc) may be more attributable to lack of sleep, fatigue and preoccupation with so many details regarding treatment rather than the meds themselves.  Again, I only took the Pegasys/Copegasys - nothing else.  Thanks for raising a good point.

I'm on peg-Intron, tomorrow will be tx 28. I had slight brain fog before tx. I used to be an avid reader, 2 to 3 books a month. I can not read a book since tx. I miss it. I too have to read and re-read things. I also have problems finding the words when I am talking to someone.
