CAN SOVALDI & OLYSIO BE CUT

i read yesterday in another site of people cutting the meds in half and extending treatment.  It sounds crazy to me but I I posted and asked  why? Has anyone here heard of such thing?

That is crazy!!!!  Cut it in half and everybody fails treatment.   Sound like more than crazy.  Never heard of that before.  That's just plan stupid.

Sorry to interrupt but is this the new drug combo that is out there? I know they had trouble with the cost of some of the other new drugs. So, I was wondering if this is the new one. My friends cousin is waiting to get treated. As for this question yes one shouldn't cut the dose and it could lead to resistance too. I agree.

I agree that sounds crazy. For one thing it is important to be taking the full dose that is suggested to wipe out the virus as quickly as possible and to make sure it is all gone. Doing it the way these people are talking would make no sense and would more then likely lead to treatment failure.
