Color Hair ???
Has anyone colored their hair while on Interferon & Ribavirin? I dont want to do anything that will make more fall out. This is week 19 and its coming out alot I think. Such an important question.Thanks
GREAT!! glad I could help..The stuff I recommended isn't harsh like the stuff they use elsewhere.. no stripping, etc...no strong smells, no ammonia.. I don't know what color you use. but mixing in some of the champagne color it turns the streaks of grey to golden highlights!!

I do however want to Thank-You again, when I was almost done with tx. I asked you about perming my hair.....you told me if it was in good condition and not breaking off...and I had no color on it...I could do it!
Well...I did, I figured I couldn't look any worse and I could get a wig!!!!! Well me and my g'daughter did my perm! And NO girls, I didn't use a perm from the pharmacy...I went for it all the way!
As for having gone to cosmo. school in the past....I still can buy professional perms. I used a Zotos....chemically heated activated! And it did wonderfully!!!!
But before I did my perm I used a lot of extra conditioners on it....hot oil tx too! I started to condition my hair really everyday for about 2 wks before I did my perm. I had no problems at all.
I want to TY again Galen for your expertise, and advice. When I finished my perm and took out the first couple rods...I was on top of the world!!!!!
I will NEVER forget you GALEN for making me "feel" much better, when I was in such a low point in my life!!!!!
I even paid my g.daughter $10.00 for putting the solutions on every rod!!!!!! LOL She told me "Gigi" you don't have to pay me..I told her it was sooooooo worth all her help in making me "feel" so much better.
