Corneal issues 5 months post TX

Hi everyone
Like you all know I txd for 6 months (G2b). I was UND since week 2 and I still am 4 months post TX. Sadly for me I developed hashimoto's sindrome and I have blurry vision (with some floaters) in my right eye. After viewing the emedicine pictures posted by Alagirl I jumped to other links that related HCV to corneal melting, Moore corneal ulcer, dry eye, etc....
I have an appointment with an oftalmologist on Nov 20 and another PCR on Nov 15 but I was wondering if anybody here has developed retinopathies or eye issues after treating with interferon of this is an HCV issue by itself or if this could be caused by the hypothiroidism I'm now suffering.
Or does this mean I've relapsed?
I appreciate any input on this...
BTW: Mr Brian Fog is gone and Ms URQ left the building. No more red palms, and no spider veins. Feels that I'm SVR but the eye thing is getting me all worried again
Saludos

I'll let you know as soon as I find out. I probably won't be able to get an appointment with her for a couple of weeks though.

The hemorrhage just happened.  I am still on tx for another 22 weeks.  I just completed 24 weeks of triple therapy and now standard therapy for the next 24.  My vision is not impacted at all so far.

Thanks a lot for your responses.
Myown plz keep me updated with your findings.
After reading the post and the other link in it I'm not sure if I have cotton wool spots or retinopathy. Its blurry vision in the center of the macula) or the pupil..I see things as if I was seeing thru a steamy glass. everything is focused but with of fog. Specillay when watching my monitor...
Gotta wait till Nov 20...
Andiamo, did your retinal hemorrage remitted after TX?
Did your vision improved after vertex & combo?

Interferon definitely can cause retinopathy.  I posted a link:

Sorry to hear that you developed hashmito's syndrome.

I have the problem with the floaters really getting in my way especially my right eye and also dryness also but I haven't made an eye appointment yet - sick of going to doctors, but I know I must get this checked out so I will make an appointment this week. I'll let you know if I find anything out.

I doubt you suffered relapse. 4 months post UND sounds like you will be SVR!!  I wish you the best!
