I want the red blotch...i know fer sure i got it.
I WAS asking copy man...i told hiw to ram the neddle home...LOL
The redi-pen is not like the regular syringe, so you can't pull back to check for blood.
Wishing you the best and hope tx is treating you well.

I don't know who your asking but I was told not to bother looking for blood from my NP.No red spots for me, yet~
I use the RediPen, vary the site rotation and never show any signs of irritation.
At this point, I agree with copyman.
However, like you, I was worried about the RediPen, the dribble, and whether I am injecting to excess skin rather than fat. Since there was virtually no drop VL load at week 6, I began to wonder if I am doing the injection right in the first place.
The laminated 3-part instructions that come with my pens has a picture for each step.
The directions state the dribble is normal and does not compromise the dose.
The picture on my directions has a larger overspill then I usually ever actually get.
The best assurance the RediPen works is examining the pen at each stage of the injection process: From when you remove it from cold storage (usually the fridge) and it warms a little right to disposal in the container that came with the pens (or your doctor's office)
See for yourself how the dose looks through the clear part before you inject.
Sometimes you will see a small amount of powder with the liquid part, but usually just the liquid part (i.e., the solution is already partly blended).
You still have to hold it upside down twice; either way, but you will see for yourself what the mixture looks like through the clear part before you inject.
Follow the rest of the steps and after you inject, look at the clear part again.
The difference is very noticeable.
There is no solution remaining in the pen.
I realize you know this part, but: rotate the dose all the way to the black line and inject until you hear the click
I rotate all the way to the 5 so I figure, you probably do as well.
There is not really much of a chance you did the shot wrong, but examining the RediPen at each stage is the best way to allay your concerns.
are you still pulling back and checking for blood?
