Does Hepatitis C trigger Fibromyalgia

My Fiance has suffered with severe hip burns for several years, not sure what the cause was at the time but now knowing it is Fibromyalgia.
After receiving a blood transfusion 23 years ago she has now been diagnosed with Hepatitis C where as the virus had laid Dormant for the 23 years. Now her hepatitis has become active in the year 2009 the Symptoms of pain through her joints and back have become far more severe, where as she only suffered with it in her hips in the very begining. Does anyone know if Hepatitis C has a reaction towards Fibromyalgia causing it to Flare up?

It just seems a coincidence that in the year 2009 her Hepatitis C has become active, and after all these years her Fibromyalgia has become more severe, is the the Hepatitis causing it?
