"With a shriek that deafened men, felled trees and split stone, Smaug shot spouting into the air, turned over and crashed down full from on high in ruin."
and wind will scatter the ashes and all memory of his time

Big congratulations on your SVR and good to hear another success story on R7128. Another promising drug coming down the pipe. I have enjoyed your posts and appreciated your contributions here. All the best to you as you continue with your HCV-free life!
Trish
Oh, I forgot. Could you please add yourself to the Class of 2009 SVR thread.
Thanks, Marcia
Wonderful news! So happy for you!
Thanks I actually celebrated by going to dinner with my family. We went to my favorite Mexican restaurant. This place is the real deal not some tex mex joint and pssst guess what....I washed it all down with a modelo negro. And it felt good!!! (Tasted pretty good too). I felt I deserved that!
Just remember for all those who are treating and suffering through the treatment. Hang in there, as tough as it may get, there really is light at the end of the tunnel. I feel great 6 months post. I eat right (except tonight) and exercise regularly adn I have bounced back. For those who know me they may remember I was out on Temporary disability towards the end of my treatment. The sides from the peg and Riba were too much. I could not make my long commute to work (60 miles each way). Hang in there guys it really will and does get better!
Congratulations on your new hcv free life
Big congrats!!
This year is the SVR year for more people than ever no doubt!
Stay well!!

DS,
Congratulations on the "new lease on life". Hope you'll still stay tuned to help the rest of us avoid "foreclosure".
Your insightful input is always appreciated.

Dragons Dont Exist
Dragons, mate? They don't exist.
So cross them off your Xmas list.
We've no such things-
no snakes with wings.
Ask any archaeologist
if dragons do or don't exist.
He'll treat you like you're round the twist.
So pardon me If I insist
that dragon's simply don't exist.
We've no such things-
no snakes with wings,
no spikes, no scales,
no pointed tails.
If any college scientist
suggested that they might exist
then he or she would be dismissed.
Not me, cos I'm a realist.
I know that dragon's don't exist.
We've no such things-
no snakes with wings,
no spikes, no scales,
no pointed tails.
no sudden death
by fiery breath,
no flying oral arsonist.
'The creature simply can't exist,'
says teacher and says naturalist.
It's pure Scotch mist so let's desist
cos dragons simply don't exist.
We've no such things-
no snakes with wings,
no spikes, no scales,
no pointed tails.
no sudden death
by fiery breath,
no rich rewards,
no treasure hoards.
The Blarney Stone must have been kissed
by those insisting they exist.
Oi! See this fist above my wrist?
It's yours right now if you persist,
cos dragons truly don't exist.
He led us to
the dragon's lair,
said: 'I'll show you!'
ans walked in there.
Then came a roar,
a scream, a moan,
and nothing more
was ever known
or missed
of the man who said dragons
didn't exist.
great!! wish you well. happy dancing!
Congratulations R7128 seems to be a GREAT drug for all genotypes. I think it and other cross genotype drugs will eventually be the ones to have the most success in the marketplace.
Barry
Congratulations on your great news!!
Stay well,
Mike
Thank you so much for all of your well wishes. And don't worry I will still post Jokes in the Social. Laughter is definitely needed when treating! It helped me when times were real rough.
To Vic199
I was treated at University of Pennsylvania Hospital.
To Epi,
My kindred spirit! We made it! Let's hope that some of these drugs like R7128 and others that are farther along make it to market and provide a better outcome for patients.
Awesome news! You must be dancing around right now. Great to see so many SVR's lately as well as UND PCR's.
Love It!!!! Great news. Congratulations to you and thanks for sharing. Class of 2009 is getting bigger every day.
Wishing you all the best!
Isobella
