tetnus shot on tx?

hi all,

can't remember if this was answered before....but went on a road trip, at pismo beach saw a clam neck (nose?) in the sand and started tp dig it up...with my hand...well it must a been a razor clam instead of pismo clam, because on the third dig down felt sharpness and pain and my middle finger was laid wide open and full of sand...bled like a stuck pig...so it is a ***** to type with one finger due to splint on middle finger..have not gone to dr yet...so any complications with tetnus shot and tx (can't remember the last one i had) i do know that my wbcs are low and am hoping there is enuff left to fight this off....hope that clam gets hcv....careful out there if your driving for holidays on tx

Hi Kennedge, I got a Tetanus shot a few months ago, I have been on TX for 5 months, everything went well, it did not mess with my Lab work, they stayed the same, only thing is, that Darn Tetanus Shot hurts like he!!, for about 4 days, hard to move the ole arm..Sure hope you get better soon. OUCH! Bummer. Having worked with sheet metal for a living I've had a lot of cuts, stitches and Tetanus shots. It used to be every 10 years we got one but due to political correctness they say to do it more frequently something like 3 years now. Have you had one? I believe they are pretty safe. My 2cents.
