Encouragement

I for one think that this forum is to be used for encouragement to each other. Compassion. Empathy. Kindness.
And if that fills a thread, so be it.
Some more needy than others. Some stonger than others. But one thing brings us all together, love for one another.
Love for a total stranger. Unconditional love.

Isn't that more important than staying on one's definition of a topic?

And next time someone get's the urge to lash out, think first, how is that other person feeling? Have they just had their shot? Their Riba? Could they be just a bit irritated or frustrated by their situation? Could that make them seem like a bad person when they are really just suffering?
Suffering as we all have? Angry as we all have been?
We all come here for love and understanding. Some are just a bit harder to love. But we keep trying.
We keep trying.
Love is the answer. Love is the answer.
Love.

THANK you!   It helps so much to hear from the trail blazers.    Yeah,  I'm settling in for the duration--the shorter, Buster Brown hair, the teenage acne.... why, I'm turning into a veritable sex bomb.   Helpless laughter is the best defense, after good information, that is.

Amerabrit was asking about hair cut,,,well I'm trying to hang on to anything I can to cover these bumps up because they are on neck also during different times of tx....Sometimes,,I have no rash at all and think my skin is getting use to the poison and then,,,They are Back! haha Awwww the joys of interferon/riba!!  Take Care Califia!

Oh good, we're on a roll here.  Because I think I just hit the rash stage.  First there was this thing on my chest, and I've never broken out in my life.  It's hot and the last thing I want to do is wear turtlenecks, but this is too embarassing.  And then there's one more, and one more.   I thought that riba rash was going to be faintly pink and speckly, like what happens around the injection sites, but no....maybe THIS is the real thing.   Large red bumps.  And now a couple presenting on my back.  Is that what you're talking about, Honey?  (Damn, the hits just keep on coming, don't they?)

Tell Billy he's on the same page with the rest of us.  Betcha there's a little battle going on right now and he's feeling the effects.  I'm still having intermittent liver pain myself...and as for the itching,  I hit a stretch early on when I thought I'd jump out of my skin.  Then it subsided...and now, in week 12, it's back with a vengeance.   My face feels like a hot, burning leather mask 24/7.  (So is he ready to give back his club membership yet?  Naw....)

What are you inferring ? That somehow WE are responsible ? Wonder how you came up with that garbage.

Mr Billy is having a problem with his skin, he says it feels like very itchy underneath the skin that even sitting in his truck is extremely wierd, that he doesnt want to touch anything. But he says it is underneath the skin.

Also this week he had wierd pain in the liver area..Does this all seem right?

He worked all week very phsical labor. Came home a little more often and did his ebay thing and I cooked lotssa good stuff for him.So he is on his way~ Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts!

It IS INDEED very good to see you back today and feeling stronger. Stay strong..Remember that all any of us have is TODAY!  No one has any guarantees. One foot infront of the other, one day at a time!!
It was so good to see how others rallied to help and support you.to SHOW you that they DO CARE!!. SUPPORT is indeed what this site is for!
I didn't see the thread until much later in the day!
YOU have MUCH to SHARE with the rest of your world..People DO CARE, so if you should ever feel yourself sliding down again, send out an email or make the phone call and TALK it out!! It will be OK!  Sending you lots of love and positive energy!

ALL::   Ya'll are ALL wonderful.. and though at times there's alot of contraversy on here, I hope this incident serves as a reminder to everyone that, ..."A smile or kind word is more potent than any threat, turmoil, or tantrum".
Don't all of you feel GOOD inside to come here today and see the post form Want2live and to know that caring and being supportive has had such a wonderful positive outcome?
It is so much easier to be KIND and supportive than to be mean!!   It is very important to think before we speak!  There have been several big 'events' on here lately. so this should remind us all how much damage or good we can do with our mouths (which on here is the typed word)!  It is our choice to make.
"What to know about PAIN is; how LITTLE we DESERVE it; how SIMPLE it is to GIVE; and how HARD it is to LOSE!"
Frederick Busch
Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe weekend....

I may be able to start tx with you and the others afterall...I managed to find out where the kink is in getting meds.  The SW filed twice...still no file with Roche.  I called Roche yesterday and found out the wrong app was used...both times.  The correct app was faxed to Dr, but never placed in my file...he never knew it was there.  Now, if we can get the CORRECT app, I may have meds before the end of the month.  This has been brewing for 6 months...I could be halfway through by now.  I had really hoped to begin before I started feeling so crappy, but it just wasn't meant to be.  Trying to sit at a desk for 8 hours on 2 hours of sleep is getting very difficult.  My attitude is not good...like a constant hang-over.  This has been a humbling experience, for sure.

Hey buddy, saw your last post, and didn't get to post. I got a hurricane down here bangin on my back door.. Damn thing is just stationary now, and we are all playing the waiting game..The streets are empty, and every house is boarded up..
Well, glad to see you are feeling better. Life is precious, and you have family and friends, backing you..It does get hard at times, and I know. I have gone through some rough times, and had the same thoughts..I actually sat down, put a Mossburg in my mouth, and was ready to do the deed. You really think about alot of things, and reality is a b*tch..But, life is a test..We all are tested everyday, and there is always someone worse off than anyone of us. It is amazing, how you thought you where alone, and strangers from all over come to your aid..I know that you are strong, as your name says it all!!! Keep your head up, and remember that you are not alone. You ever need to talk, email me at lexnlinda at compuserve dot com

Want2live::::: Good day to you, Sir.  What a blessed day it is.  Your words are inspiring, your endurace is admirable, and your actions are honorable, victorious and such a beakon to many.  In your personal struggles and in sharing, you have perhaps helped many that may in a dark void at this time as well.  My hope is that you may never have to feel this pain so deeply ever again.  I know that in life, we all have some very dark and depressing moments, and some life experiences that drag us to deep points.....but I hope that the ray of hope always shines brightly for you.  It is wonderful to know that you are offering your words of encouragement to others as you, yourself, received encouragement....you are brave and courageous....and very loving.

GeorgiaPeach::::The other thread was closed, and I just wanted to say "hi"...and to thank you for sharing your story.
Your strength is incredible.  I hope you stay here and "talk" with us.  Your words were uplifting.  I am sorry for your troubles.
