Declared undetectable... am I in the clear?

I was recently told that I tested positive for Hep C antibodies, and after much bloodwork, found out I am one of the lucky ones that was able to clear the virus on my own... my confusion now is am I in the clear completely? Do I not have to worry about an infection in the future?

You're not immune, if that's what you mean.  With Hep B you CAN develop an immunity but not with Hep C.

Doctors usually recommend to retest again after 6 months, to be 100% sure. That's what we have to do with one of my daughters who has the same case scenario as you.

Except for your confusion, you sound fine.  Your situation occurs about 20-25% of the time.
