what can be done is stop the FEAR ... if you are only stage 1 im about 100% sure that your acid reflux, stomach problems, etc are more due to stressing out about the hep than the actual virus
get your dr to prescribe an anti-anxiety for a while, educate yourself on this virus and try to stop worrying about it it doesnt help
im stage 2 and i was having some of the same issues thinking every little thing is due to the hep and it just isnt ....all my bloodwork is normal, ultrasound is goood, i feel fine not overly tired nothing...you can live a long and healthy life with this virus believe it or not...
had alot of the sme symptoms you are now experiencing. GI did an upper scope and found signs of healing ulcers, prescribed nexiun, and i eat small frequent meals. I also have a lactulose intolerance so i stay away from milk products, which has helped greatly. good luck
Welcome, I had like a bloated feeling and I couldn't stand it. Fortunately I just called my doctor and I had him prescribe me a diuretic. I'm not saying that's what you need, you may want to talk to your own doctor, but it worked wonders for me. MT has never really done that much for me, some ppl like it alright I just mean for me. Well it sounds like you have plenty of time to get educated and decide what you are gonna do, so enjoy. God Bless
Your sense of denial and wanting to wake up and find out it was all a bad dream was exactly the way I felt. I still do feel that way, but in the meantime, I am biting the bullet and getting on with a 48 wk treatment.
Good luck.

This is a great forum. Be glad you found it. I would have gone nuts without it.
As far as your problems I agree with HCA, could be anything probably minor.
I understand how you feel...I wish it would go away too!
I think you mean you were Stage One on biopsy with minimal fibrosis, not cirrhosis as you state.
Do you have any notes, papers, letters ect. from the doctor which could clarify this.
There is a world of difference.
If I have guessed correctly your current symptoms may not be Hep C related at all.
You need to see a doctor as the only words in your post which describe your symptoms are 'sick'-nausea and bloated.
You say you are 'feeling' bloated rather than actual swelling. Not possible to even guess from from these details
Could be anything- probably minor..
You need a physical examination and blood tests in the first instance,
Good luck!
