I have always loved wigs wigs are so much fun but then that's when I dont NEED to wear them ya know? A few Christmas' ago I got a couple of them (long blond, long dark brown, long auburn) for like $29,95 each LOL I wore them ALL OF THE TIME for fun.

The first night I put the auburn one on (I have brown heavily streaked blond hair) my father said "wow did you get a haircut?" and my brother said "Yeah I was wondering too" ... meanwhile my hair was about a foot longer than it is in real life and RED.

Men....go figure.

yeah, I knew that about the insurance, of course I would, ha ha...you know with 500 clams you can get a real decent wig...I'm going to the same place Oprah gets hers (I love some of her wigs!) ...he he he....at least we females can get avail ourselves to some decent wigs...although I understand that not everyone would want to wear them...

the guys have a much toucher time...unless they do that Elton John and Mick Jaggar thing where they shave their heads, then have this perfect skin tone type skull cap made especially for their skin tone, etc. and have their own type of hair especially sewn into it resembling natural growth patterns, etc. This whole process is something like 10 grand overall, a friend of mine makes them...so we chicks have it easy....

Now Goof does a whole different process but he won't share it...

Hey you know what I just found out?  My insurance company will pay $500 if the doctor writes a letter saying that I need a wig due to treatment!  The place is a cancer type wig shop and I think that is why they have so much experience with these things....but is that awesome!

I seriously am thinking I am going to get one.  Longer and thicker than my hair is right now that is for sure!  hahaha

The lady said that when it happened to her she started wearing it early on and so nobody really knew at all (she got it like her regular hair was).

I just thought that might come in handy for anybody else who's going through "hair withdrawl" like I am.

Thanks to you at least I didn't have a full drain of hair today for the first time in a while now.  :)

hey, thanks for the blow by blow, really appreciate it! It's interesting that it is in segments...I guess not everyone loses that much hair (hope I don't have to get that Tina Fright Wig afterall, he he he) poor thing, she was on with her kids? wow, that's my idea of an interesting time...youre on a tv show on TX with a bunch of your kids running around! whew!

Yes, I think Steppie is doing remarkably well even though he's ESLD...always tries to be positive and helpful to newbies, and he listens so well...no one ever figures he's doing that badly...anyway, thanks so much Friole, hope youre having a good day as well...wierd weather huh? I feel like it's the middle of August...

Undetectable is all we can ask for. Personally I wouldn't worry about ALT/AST - inflamation due to meds, liver remodeling, who knows. I wish mine were lower too, BTW.

Friole: wow, so glad you saw it! I feel like such a weenie, tried to make myself stay up but fell asleep, and then I just found out that I tivo'ed it wrong...oh well again...I know they probably taped it...I'm glad you said they put us in a better light...we all need a little better PR then we've been getting! I've been hearing that there are a couple of really good documentaries and specials in the works...
