Congrats again, BT and the very best of luck to you.
I can't wait to get to week 72. (24 shots from tomorrow).
BTW, I seem to have gotten your gender wrong. Apologies for that. *LOL*
wyntre

Glad to see you posting, cruel (richard?)
Yeah, tomorrow is #48 for me. If I weren't so PO'd that I didn't get UND before week 12 in which case tomorrow would be the LAST injection I'd be doing the TX happy dance.
But somehow, another 6 months doesn't seem as intimadating as the next 24.
What do you think?
Also, are you still on increased riba doses? How is that working for you?
wyntre
I am so happy you made it. You have such an AWESOME story to tell...I can't thank you enough for sharing what you did with me when I was treating. May you have a wonderful SVR. You are such a blessing. I don't know if I will have time to pop back in or not for a while, just wanted you to know I am happy for you and that you are thought of and cared about by someone you don't even know...LOL. -Mkeela
P.S. Wyntre, 4C was talking about what she said about the SVR bus I think...LOL!
ive seriously considered quitting now at 48 and count on vertex to save me later but ive decided for sure to go the full 72 and got docs approval for it. still on 20 mg per kg riba and will go the distance with that as well. hemo steady at 10.0 for many months now with no rescue. anc been falling since start and took a nose dive to 600 lately but no rescue needed yet either. i knew that once we made 48 the last 24 would be easy (ha ha). ive been having a few good days lately but generally still fighting hard to keep things going, pay the bills, and stay sane. im sure it hasnt let up on you either even though i havent seen you complain lately. im really exited about reaching this landmark and hope you are too. no matter what happens i believe the worst is over for both of us as the confidence level is so much higher than before.
right now we should bid farewell to the the last tough dragons in our blood as this extra six months will assure their complete and absolute annihilation!
how about a toast for complete and absolute annihillation!
go team go!
Well Said, Cruel.
Just raised my glass of raspberry seltzer.
My target date is May 2, 2008. What's yours?
I got the next 3 months of peg, riba and neupogen last week. One more delivery, in Feb. and hopefully SVR after that.
I don't understand the 20 mg. per kg riba. I'm on 1000. Hadn't you increased to 1200 or so?

It's been a long haul, incredible job! Congrats on finishing up. Now the waiting starts, just don't let the heeby jeebies get to you or you might end up like botha and joachim. ;-)
Congatulations on finishing! You deserve the sleep! Next step looks like SVR to me!

Excellant! EOT is bliss! Good news on the biopsy also, I quess your TP doc was right when he said I'm done with you. I had one of those strange low PCR's a 31/IU's and my doc thought the same. In case you didn't see the thread HR explained what might cause these false positives.

I'm 7 weeks post now and think I'll do my next PCR at 12 weeks, was UND at 4. BTW still catching up on my sleep!
Best of luck and science,
mike
Awesome news..wishing you the best of everything!!
F-1 seven yrs post is a dang good reason to feel good all by itself ! Congratulations for making it all the way through tx and best wishes for SVR !
regards,
Mr Liver
Congratulations on finishing what I know was a very difficult ordeal. I wish you the very best. It does take time to recover and to start feeling appreciably better so please, try to be patient with yourself. Stay well, Mike
Glad you made it to the finish line! Wishing you the best!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks everybody for the encouraging words. I'm already sleeping better and losing that speeding feeling that you get during tx. Starting to look at food differently, not as something to just wash my pills down with. I took my six pills one at a time because of a weak stomach and not having to remember those all day is great.
KC, that's great on you four week pcr; and you are post-tx and did "only" 48 weeks. It doesn't get any better than that!
