I don't what exactly you have, but if you have any sort of infection in the nasal or sinus then:
It is highly likely that caused by the Interferon + Riba, the on;y solution I found for theat is Prednisone to heal the infection  (on;t for 5- 10 days) and all along the time Wet-Spray. I suggest you to consult with a very good ENT, far as I know Prednisone for short time will not harm.

But I am not a doc. You better talk with ENT doc you trust.
Good luck.

Thanks Jack! I can't use Prednisone because of a platelet disorder, but I'll check into the Wet Gel or Wet Spray.

I took Flonase while I was on Tx and it didn't cause any harm.

But also it didn't help me. I had severe sinus problems and only Prednisone helped. It is not recommended to use Prednisone  while on Tx but if you do according with  doc instructions it is ok.

Based on my experience I would not use Saline water during Tx because it dehydrate and this is the opoosite of what you need on Tx. I recommend to look for some of Wet Gel or Wet Spray that just make the nose and the sinus more wet.

Hope I helped.

Allergy meds should be fine however we get so dehydrated on tx that you might want to consider waiting a little while until the meds get absorbed and then use some saline to clean you nasal passages and water them up a bit. I know when I take any benedryl or flonase type thing I get a bit dehydrated from them as it is........on tx well doesn't sound like fun!
