Friday Night Darts Club

Wish good aim and low SE for all of us preparing for our shot tonight. I think I'll catch a movie in a COOL theatre before my 10 PM injection. Number 3. BG, Karen :D

Don't know as though you should plan on side effects from the peg maintaining a schedule through the duration of your tx. By the time I was into my 50th week or so, my best day of the week was shot day. Which I did at 5:00am, was usually my most productive day...;*)

Thanks everyone! This forum has been so helpful for me. I too have off on sun and Mon. Guess the whole thing is day by day.

Flcyclist is right- don't assume anything. My worse side effects don't even seem to have anything to do with the shot. Just the same, I do mine Saturday night because I'm offf Sunday and Monday.  Now that we know we will have football, my Sunday's will be spent on the safa anyway.

After reading the thread title, not what I expected, but a good name for trt night.

summer7799 - I also selected Friday night with the idea of having a few days to recover for work on Monday.  This isn't what actually happened for me though.  I usually feel pretty good on Sat/Sun and it seems Tues/Wed are the days when I feel more fatigued.  Just when I think I have things figured out, now I don't notice a big difference between days, especially when work is a bugger.  Don't make any assumptions regarding what to expect, since the sides vary so much from person to person.

It's just a good idea to take your shot when you know you'll have a day or two off on a regular schedule.  If you work somewhere that you are off on Sun and Mon, try doing your shot on Sat nite.  You just need to stay on a schedule where you take you shots on the same day of the week and at about the same hour each time.  :)

Yeah. I'm gonna work thru the 48 weeks. So this made sense for me. I've gone in and worked in my classroom the last 2 Monday's. Saturdays are a little lazy n nappier. Good excuse anyway. haha. Karen

Is there a reason why you do the shot on Friday vs any other day? Just curious..
