Awwww Geeze.....THANKS GUYS!
Lizi...I can't believe you did this. This is truely the BEST present. I'm glad you're keeping track of this stuff. I thought I was 53....but you reminded me I was only 52 this year. You gave me back a whole 'nuther year! I feel SO young!
Britgirl & Beth...I have managed a beer today. I think I may have another before I call it quits. I know....livin on the edge.
Tosser...I AM Svr. I remained clear at my 6 month Pcr and fully expect to stay that way. Who says 1B's can't clear?
Seashell....I LOVE salmon. Those damn bears are probably put up to stealing them by "The Badger". Keep an eye out....he's everywhere!
GO QUACK GO! One more to score! You've been a real trooper.
Carol, Kim, Ghille....What a ride our year was, eh? We did the best we could with what was dealt us. I'm always happy to see you all post. Lets me know you're ok. You were part of my early stories and we really had some fun.
Greatbird....Now THAT was unbelieveable! I'm not even gonna ask how you did that. I needed therapy after someone tried to explain how to add hyperlinks to posts...I'm SURE reading abot embedded animated pics would KILL me.
Galen...You don't owe me anything. And as far as THAT goes, it's ok that you can't talk your sisters into it. The reality would probably kill me. But in my little fantasy world of dreams at night...it's already happened! And let me say that it was wonderful. You were SO....talented! Hahahahaha
Kennedge...I do have a "covert" cow-tipping planned for tonite. I will NOT wear my birthday suit though. I tried that already once. You would not believe the damage a milking machine can do to anything that even "looks" like an udder! It scared the life right outa "IT". Now I have to use Viagra just to FIND it! Bertha has patrols out today. I'm sure she received a warning telegram from The Badger. I have a plan though. I have a new outfit and will sneak in from the "South Lawn"....wait, I can't call it THAT anymore after the recent posts. Ok, sneak in from the rear....nope, that doesn't work either. Behind=no...down under=no...the back way=no....ok,ok, I'm sneakin in from the "OTHER" way. I have a shirt from the Federal Witness Protection Program that says "You Don't Know Me". She'll never see me commin....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Thanks SO much to ALL of you here. The love commin outa this post is overwhelming. It is surely the BEST. We are truely "Family" here.

uh... speechless for once.  Those folks above have "spoken my mind" (more Quaker talk).
I wish you a long and happy life.  That is my biggest wish for your family and friends, too, including us.  Thanks for all you've given us already.  Happy Birthday!

Aw shucks! You went & bought an outfit already and I was just about to send you a new body suit/leotard/thong with little bales of hay on it. In reference to your 9/6 post I was a little concerned about you field running in that fishnet thing with the badgers lurking about. Hahaha! I hope you have a nice birthday & big hugs for helping many others & me get through treatment. You had me laughing myself right out of brain confusion many times. All my best to you!

Ya Say it's your Birthday?   LOL!

Hey, I am sending you a gross of those ear candles!  (use them wisely!  Don't share them with family or friends!)

...And not only that...but I will be flying you someplace.  (You might want to leave your family...because I still can't land if there is wind.  LOL!)

Oh, My.... Perhaps you would like to join me at the WHINE Festival that I will be attending in a few weeks?  YOUR Ticket is in the mail!

Or...if you would prefer...

knowing what type of man you are,

You might like to go to the parrot parade?

I don't have a parrot, but I think crashing a parrot festival would be great fun.  I once crashed a 6-foot and over party by wearing very tall shoes. It was great fun until I found out that men that are 6FT. 6In.+ make your neck hurt.

Yep, you have to continually look up to them, unless you enjoy wearing those horrible shoes.  LOL!)  I am 5' 6"....BUT I FEEL TALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the parrot festive.... Your whole family should be safe... if you don't try to eat them of flame them,
yep,  THEN  we'll all be ok.

Happy Birthday....

Hep free in 2003!

What a wonderful birthday present for you, eh?

We all love you,
Shebee
(Your reformed brat!)

See what a nice post I had for you?
Well, a reasonably nice post, eh?

this discussion of riba dosing is pretty interesting : you'd never know drs took such latitude in their riba rx from reading the published studies!. For  1s, the 1000-1200 cutoff at 165lb amounts to a recommended range of 6.06-7.27 mg/lb. However, looks like people are actually taking anywhere from 4.44 (jim) to 8.88(dtr). For 3's the recommended dose is a one-size fits all 800, but I agree with you, lvdbygod, 2.26mg/lb does seem pretty low. Must be due to the dr's judgment of how bad the anemia will hit you versus the added value of the riba in tx.

Happy Birthday! I've learned more from your posts about proper cow-tipping technique, exfoliant deployment, south-lawn maintenance (don't prune, whatever you do, don't prune...) and, especially, dragon-roasting attitude, than I'll be able to use in this lifetime.   Thanks and have a great day.

hi reg
I didn't question my riba dose until about week 5 or 6 after starting treatment.  I had by then learned and read that the riba amount should be prescribed by weight.  When I saw my GI on week 8, I asked him about why I take 1,200 mg riba daily as I weighed around 135 lbs.

He told me if I could tolorate the 1,200 mg daily, he wanted me on that dose.  I've only had one set back during my treatment and that was at week 10 when my rbc went low and I had to jump on procrit and decrease the riba for a couple of weeks.

I don't mind the 1,200 mg riba dose at all and my GI wants me to continue with this dose amount.  Anything that will assist me in kicking out this virus I can go for.  Luckily, I haven't been too ill with my medication.  I am able to keep my appetite up and sleep well.

Hope all is well with you !

Sincerely wishing you a wonderful birthday, and thanks once again for answering my post earlier about taking a trip after Tx. I really needed to hear some positive support to push me the right direction. Your sense of humor is a breath of fresh air here, and I know I'm not the only one that can appreciate it. Now, please tell me that you are SVR with a happy ending 'cause I think you deserve that! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ;)

Happy, Happy Birthday baby!!! Hoping that you had a great one.

I'm 1a and was on 1000mg reb with Pegasys.  About half way through my doctor put me on 800mg of riba.   I think it was due to skin rashes and my low weight.

One more shot to go!!!WEEEE
