I take Valtrex 500 mg a day. Will Valtrex affect hepatitis C test results?
(Valtrex is an antiviral for the herpes family of viruses)
This question was asked in the hiv forum and Dr. Hansfield said no, Valtrex will not affect hiv test results. I can't find this answer in relation to hep c.
I want peace of mind that even with Valtrex in my body, I can trust a negative hep c test result.
