Hcv antibodies borderline and Zero PCR

Hello everybody,
My case is that I have Hcv virus C antibodies in my blood. The last time I did with ELISA technoque the result was 1.76 as per the analyist statement but in fact I do not have the virus always PCR result is zero.
My problem now that I have a very intesresting job offer in KSA. in KSA the government just consider the antibodies test for workers and they do not recognize PCR result.
My question is: Is there any treatment can be done to hide these antibodies in my blood? giving the infromation that the result of ELISA should be less than 1.5 in order to be negative as per KSA creteria

No!

If I were you - I would get a letter from my doctor explaining you only have
the antibodies showing you have been exposed  and you don't have the
virus.  It's up to you to come up with the proof you don't have the virus.  You
might be surprised.  They could except your doctors letter.

Best to You

Thank you for your reply...In fcat they are there so tight minded that they just approve their own list of tests in their own labs

I have read that one is more likely to get false positives when there has been a recent exposure to an influenza virus, so false positives are a little more common during the winter. You might try timing another test to match a time when fewer viruses being passed around in your area for a couple of weeks before the test. Autoimmune diseases also slightly raise the risk of a false positive but I doubt if you could do anything to reduce that probability. You could also consider that working for such unenlightened people might not be that nice anyway.

If you have had multiple "AB "  tests and they keep showing you have a  Positive or "reactive" result .this would mean  one of  two things in light of the fact the multiple PCR tests read NEG ( I would imagine you meant NEG,as there is no test that reads "zero" ):

1) you were at one time exposed to HCV and your own immune system fought off the virus

OR

2) you are getting a false positive reading(usually shows a weak positive as yours shows often due to the fact the AB test is very sensitive and can sometimes cross-react with antibodies to other conditions, hence the "false positive"

The fact the definitive PCR's state Neg."..means you  do NOT have HCV..and there is nothing further that needs to be nor can be done about the pos' AB test.

Hopfully ,who is offering you the job recognizes this as there is no contagion

Good luck...

Will
