help help help

I will be beginning my treatments in about 2 weeks.  I was wondering if anyone has experienced rashes/blisters, blood transfusions, hair loss, loss of appetite, or depression? If you have, could you give me some advice on what I should be looking out for.  Also, what should I do about my eating or what to eat? How would you treat the rashes/blisters?  Also, will I be tired and depressed during most of my treatment?  Please let me know anything.  I am ready for this but I also want to be aware of what is coming my way.  Thank you in advance.

Depending on the meds you will be treated with they could cause depression or may lessen the effectiveness of a depression med you are taking. As someone just said,  side effects vary person to person. Read about your meds, best of luck to you! One side effect is fatigue in which you most likely will get. You can to this!

What is your Genotype and which meds are you taking.
The side effect profile is slightly different for each med.

There is lots of good info on here as well as support. If you have not done so already I encourage you to arrange taking your first shot at your doctor's office so they can train you and go over all the side effects with you as well as what to look out for *and* who to contact at their office if you experience a side effect and don't have the right "rescue meds" to treat it.

That way you can go with questions you might pick up on here. You can ask things that may not have occurred to you yet :)

Best of luck.

Welcome to the forum.

All of these potential side effects have been reported and discussed here multiple times.
Nobody can guess which ones may affect you and which ones won't.
I'd suggest you take some time and read through the posts on this forum, and do some searches. Go to where it says, 'search this Community' and type in what you're interested in knowing.

I can give you some advice:
Drink lots of water, do some exercise every single day that you can, even if you have to force yourself~ get outside and walk, do stretches, yoga etc.
And take vitamin D. It can help statistically improve your chances of success.

Good luck.
