newbie with blisters

i just took shot 2 yesteday, but a few days ago started getting a red, blistery looking rash in between some of my fingers.  my hands are sore and burn a little especially when wet.  is this one of the sides?
24 hrs after first shot i experienced a low grade fever, aches and chills, that only lasted one day(but nothing that knocked me off my feet).  i'm a little more tired than usual and i get upset over stupid things alot easier. and i feel sweaty on and off all day long.

wishing everyone a great day!

Hi.  Welcome to the family :)
I also had rashes early on in tx (I am 1A ~ #16 tonight).  The sides of the heels of my hands had a bumpy itchy rash and I also had small rashes on the tops of my feet, side of my torso, elbows, they just kind of crept up here and there and never amounted to much.  I don't have them much anymore. I also felt quite tired the first 6 or 8 weeks.  That seems to have leveled out now and is bearable.  Just when you get used to one side, there can be another little strange thing.......but I haven't come across anything too distressing so far.  Take it one day at a time and try to live as normally as you can.   Try to keep a light heart and have a good laugh when you get the chance!  Drink ~ Drink ~ Drink ~ LOTS OF WATER.  It will help immensely!  Hope the sides are easy on you!

Hi,

Welcome to side effects!

A rash is one of the common side effects. I've never had one on my hands but just about everyplace else has been visited during my 34 weeks of treatment.

When I first started my back and shoulders had a rash, then for months it went away and lately it has come back.

If your hands stay this way perhaps your doctor can give you some lotion or something?

Take care.

A blistery looking rash could very well be a type of fungal infection, tho "infection" is subject to intrepretation.  We all have fungi living in and on our bodies as well as multitudes of bacteria.  When our immune systems are comprimised by infection or tx these can rage out of control.  Try an antifungal ointment and see if that doesn't help.  In the meantime take your rings off for the duration as they can help your fingers stay damp and feed the fungi.  I get this problem whenever I take a lot of antibiotics and off and on during tx.
