Hep C and the workplace

I was wondering if anyone knew a website or had any info on workplace issues and hep c.  I have used all of my sick days and most of vaca days.  I cant afford to be out and not get paid.  But what am I suppose to do if I am not feeling well.  I feel like **** today.  But I can tolerate it.  Im just concerned about days that I cant.  Anyone have any advice?

Thanks

In the absence of short term disability, you will have to take FMLA leave that is not paid but at least you won't lose your job.

I found that staying home was worse than dragging myself to work, because I would dwell on feeling like s**t. Each day I wanted to curl up in bed and stay motionless, and each day I did not. Partly because I had to drive my daughter to school, so by that time most of the morning stuff was manageable and staying home was not an option, plus the pain med I took each morning was taking effect already. If you can, ask for analgesics so that you can drag to work and if it is a desk job, you can stare blankly at the monitor all day, or come to the forum. It is a long tx, I would suggest pushing yourself out of bed, drag around a bit, take a pain pill and see how you feel 40 min later, if it is still intolerable, disability might be the only option.
good luck
