Thank you for the comments. Congratulations on completing triple rx!
I've also worked the entire treatment period, and I hope to continue working until the end. Although, I sometimes found it nearly impossible to work due battling nauseau, fevers, joint pain, extreme exhaustion, and overall ill. I have always made it through each day, and I've luckily been productive at my job. I'm probably not the "happy-go-lucky" guy from prior to treatment, but I not depressed.. Just struggling with feeling horrible, which just makes your day difficult. However, I have a wonderful partner at home, and I feel blessed withe care and love given to me each day.I see light at the end of the tunnel (knock on wood), and I hope the UND status continues until the end, and until the foreseeable future.
Best of luck to you. Congrats again on completing this difficult treatment. I have tremendous respect for anyone completing this ordeal.
I just finished triple tx and I feel good. I had to take shots for low rbc and low wbc for the last 8weeks of treatment.
The wbc booster really hurt my joints so I took advil and ice packed my body.
I worked almost the whole 6 months of treatment even though I should have stayed home but it kept any depression at bay.
I had type 1 and was a early responder.
Und at 19 days is great and your labs look great.
That could be why your doctor is talking about you doing a shorter tx.
I can see doing the full 24 to stay on the safe side.
Thanks. My first labs were on day 19, and I was undetectable in those labs. I am crossing my fingers it stays und
Thanks tor the message. My genotype is 3b and I should only be under treatment for 24 weeks. Incivik wasn't prescribed due to my genotype. My doctore has talked about only doing 18 weeks of treatment, but I won't o along with it. I would rather complete the full 24 weeks
UND already ,that is great!
Thank you for the info. I will make sure to watch platelets
Your numbers look just like they should being on treatment, procrit will take a few weeks so you look fine there also. ANC looks great. Platelets are low but they should bounce around somewhat... Keep on keeping on guy
Thank you. I think you caught me because I've not been keeping well hydrated last few weeks. I've been paying for it. I will try my best to increase water intake
Not really any advice to give.. These all look like normal values for someone doing HCV therapy and the one that is very important is the UND
The one value that sticks out to me is your plats at 67 ..this is somewhat low ,however still not dangerous but definitely something to keep a close eye on to watch closely as <50 many doctors get concerned and certainly <25 is dangerous for most concerning bleeding issues..
Congrats to you and good luck the rest of the way..
Will
looks awesome from here. Good job on UND :)
Congrats on being UND.
Your Hgb looks OK to me.
Your potassium seems low. Are you staying hydrated? (3.5 - 5.2) is the LabCorp reference Interval for Potassium. Is 1.1 or around there the usual ball park for your creatinine?
You have been taking Incevik? Will you be eligilbe for short treatment?
