There should be a blue cross non-group plan available through the province. Your hepatologist or Infectious disease dr should have information they can give you.

You can contact Vertex directly. They have programs available for people who can't afford tx. I hear they work really well with people who need financial assistance. There are also trials that you can get admitted to through your local authorized medical testing facilities. Here is Vertex contact information web site.

Hi there..
and welcome to a fellow Canadian . I am in Ont. and not that familiar with your provincial health plans.
If you do not have employer based group insurance  there most likely will be a provincial plan in place to cover most if not all of the incurred costs.

possibly start by calling your Provincial Heath Ministry and go from there.

If there is a lack of full coverage then often the drug manufacturers themselves will assist those in need ( meeting certain critera )

if you need  those phone numbers post  tolet me know ..

Best to you ...  Hope all is well on the plains of Sask.
