I don't like interupting a thread for a question not relating to the suject (which is a good one) but I like to read the quote of the day, and maybe it's just brain fog, but everything is fine until I get to the word annihilating and thats where I lose the meaning, I guess I don't know the meaning of the word. Can anyone clarify it for me?
Amen Beagle.
Thanks for sharing.
Even if I go down fighting Draco the dragon, I hope my last words are like Wallace, "FREEEEEDDDDOOOMMMMMM"
Let FREEDOM ring!!!!
My cold feet-- Hey, that's what we are all here for, to help and learn my friend.
The word annihilating or annihilate means: to destroy completely]] nothing.
Grand Oak-- I hear you brother. That day is close to my heart and I was one of the many there helping.

I thank you for responding I thought thats what it meant, but it still makes the quote greek to me, It must to too high brow for a country boy like me lol.
Your not alone, I look up words that are above my head. LOL
How are you doing?
Beagle
well I'm Hep C 1a on a 72 wk trip this time, did 48 cleared and relapsed, only on week 2 on this on this one, bad deal is my
Doc won't let me drive now, I'm a 52 yo biker and paramedic and at least last tx when things got too much I could go get wind in my face and forget a while, don't mean to whine but I can deal with the sx and tx but I think the Doc is just protecting his butt because I COULD (never have) have mild encephelopathy from high ammonia levels which I was just told by my hepatolagist, the levels mean nothing unless they are taken arterial. I said is there a test I can take? yeah but we don't do those anymore because the encephelapathy may be intermittant, so I feel like **** (normal) want to choke my Dr. and watching a cheezy sci-fi rerun. THANK GOD for y'all yes I said GOD and hope you're reading it if the shoe fits.... lol Thanks for the time Beagle you seem to be well liked, I see why.
Couldn't agree with you more Mr....
Wish SVR for all & FREEDOM from HCV!
I had tears in my eyes. That day is still so vivid in my eyes. Amazing how it brought all american together. And I agree that is what we all want "TO BE FREE" Thanks, Hope your having a good weekend. I decided to get out and enjoy myself. I start treatment soon and don't know how many more times I might be able to get out and enjoy. So I took a friend to lunch and went to the casino, for the afternnon. Didn't win but the point was to get out of this house and into a better frame of mind, which I did do that!! Take care everyone... Debi
Good words , just think, without freedom ya couldn't chase bunny rabbits all over floida.
Dyce sorry to read things are still tough on you. Hope the procrit works out. Just remember it can take time to get in. But when it does its a big difference.
Beagle very nice. Now go chase them silly wabbits and marked them fire hydrants. Just watch them cars out there.
Which do you mean,thing1 or thing2 LOL. Thanks guy, if I can get this blood it would sure help.
Hows yur hmg amd labs lookin.?
Well it does make a difference when it gets in. But the procrit took a little over 3 weeks to 'KICK' in.:) Lets hope for you its faster. Mine was at 11 a week ago. Go next week for labs. But i feel alot better then when it was 9.
I think the word was meant to be exhilarating, at least it makes more sense in my fogged up anemic mind.
I think they meant to use the word annihilating which also means devastating or damaging to describe how uncomfortable the moment of giving or receiving gifts can be given wrong intentions behind a gift or a gift that is really off base or inappropriate.
It is an odd word to use in this context if you ask me, but maybe it was chosen for it's awkwardness because it is describing an awkward situation.
I first was shocked, then tears, and then became very angry. Let's hope this never, ever happens again.
I still can't find the hydrants, think it's still a sx from the riba.
I think we need a pool party before the summer ends.
Fisheress where are you? Dyce hope your feeling better, and whwere is Dale?
