I'm feeling great! I have no side effects from the meds which is great! I just got my first labs no viral load though. Everything is looking good my red blood cell count was a touch high but I am a smoker so I have had that a couple times over the years. My ALT went from 35 down to 13 and AST was 28 down to 17. So far so good. I will have a viral load in 2 weeks time at my 4 week appointment along with other bloodwork. This makes me feel s bit better as I was worried the meds weren't doing anything due to lack of side effects.

Thanks Kim I am deffinetly ready to have that sense of peace when this virus is gone! I am done with HCV! Lol but who isn't!

Congragulations!  You are on your way to becoming cured from Hep C.  Your labs look fantastic so far and its great that your feeling so good.  When I was on Tx, I remember knowing when the virus was gone from my life for good.
You will suddenly feel amazing and have an inner sense that your life will begin to change.
Keep that positive energy flowing.

I don't think protocol but my doctor does them at 2 weeks and 4 weeks then I will have one at 8 weeks and then not till 4 weeks EOT.

Is a two week blood test standard protocol? I don't have any blood tests scheduled before four weeks.

You are doing great Mom. You don't need side effects for the meds to work. If that were true I would have been clear in 1992 with my first treatment. The sides were horrific then.
