How soon start second round of Harvoni?

EOT 17 after 8 weeks of treatment on Harvoni. SVR test scheduled for June 17th. I just had a blood test done at another doctor and am awaiting results. If it shows virus has come back and is growing, how long before I can effectively take a second round of Harvoni treatment?

Congratulation. this statement is not directed towards you but for anyone that has a question about relapse. my husband type 1a took Harvoni for 12 weeks he tested negative for the disease for 4 months then tested positive. we have an appointment next week. The doctor said hes never had a patient relapse. I got checked to see if i might have contracted it without knowing. I was fine. we realized that my husband hadn't changed out his blade on his razor. He had a beard throughout the treatments and shaved it off a couple months ago. The razor had been fairly new so he did'nt think to throw it away and the doctor never told him to. We didn't even think. So we'll fine out some answers next week

I am going to taking one of the latest RX for HCV. I was just wondering about any side effects from the drugs. I would love to hear which drugs you are taking for hep c and your experience. Have you experienced any side effects.

Thank you

Toster1 I reached SVR 12 in June 2015 after 12 weeks on Harvoni. I initially had headaches while on Harvoni, but modified my diet a little by reducing sugar intake, then I was fine. No other side effects at all. This was a Cadillac compared to all the other treatments. Since then I got checked at SVR 24 and was fine, and now a year and a half later still fine. Good luck to you for SVR.
