the numbers he posted have a > "more than" sign in front which could simply mean he is positive on a qualitative test...if it shows < "less than" it is negative. perhaps thats all the dr told him.

Perhaps, then again I'm not that crazy about Ginsberg myself. I guess people will just have to judge that for themselves through what I post. Take Care - alan

That could be morale.

those ranges you posted are for the viral load count.  they are the ranges the labs and indicate how sensitive they are.  You do not want the one that goes to 600 done.  The more sensitive tests go down to 10 in the qualitative and 2 IU in the quantitative.  It will be important once he starts to determine if he truly cleared the virus.  The biopsy is assessed in stages and grades for the most part. go to janis7hepc.com for an explanation on viral loads and biopsy staging.

I'm totally lost following this thread. Could it be because of my morals or because of my morale?

We have a great moral problem throughout the US and the world!!
That is what is destroying our country, it is to much about self in the world and not enough love for each other....I should not go here but could not resist. I no I suffered more in my morale values during TX.

I think you may be interpreting those test results wrong.  It sounds like the numbers you posted are the lower limits of the reference range of the tests.  I suggest you take a closer look at the lab reports.

By the way, viral load testing doesn't really tell you much in terms of liver damage.  Another biopsy after three years would be a reasonable course of action.

Best wishes to you and your husband.
