That's father Ellen LOL. but I'll have fun anyways. Thanks for the input.
Welcome to the forum. What's the time diff between the start of tx and the wedding? Just curious... and wanted to encourage you that you can enjoy all the festivities. Pace yourself and find support here and at home. I have anemia and platelet probs also. Glad to have rescue drugs if we need em! Karen
The Incivek comes in pill form. You will take 3 doses per day of Incivek in addition to the 2x daily riba. The timing of your Incivek doses is critical so make a plan to take your Incivek right on time. Also you have to take Incivek with fat so your body absorbs it properly. If you like deli salads, a scoop of tuna salad or chicken salad has enough fat. Half an avocado has about 15 grams of fat. Yogurt, olive oil, peanut butter - whatever you like, but take it with something containing fat.
Since you had bad anemia last time you have probably already discussed procrit with your doctor. Maybe you will get lucky and your HGB will hold up better this time. But its good to have a plan in place, just in case.
Have fun being mother of the groom. Its so nice to leave the wedding arrangements to someone else. I hope you have a great time.
Yes understood. Been down that road before. 3years ago. Second go around here. Just misinterpreted what I was reading. Im waiting for my Dr. to get back from vac. before I start cause last time I got knocked down pretty hard...hemo count went to 4. so he wants to be around. Perfect, just in time for my sons wedding LOL
Thanx
You must take the shot of interferon with the ribavirihn pills and also the Inc to have it work. It is not just pills.
