horrible brain fog

hi everyone. i just started treatment for hep c 3 weeks ago, all was good till then i got massive , horrible brain fog 3 days after my 3rd injection of pegatron, it seems to be subsideing, but was a very horrible feeling all day ,very difficult to think through the fog, started getting confused and panic attacks, the doc said it was normal, and put me on anti anxiety meds. just wondering if anyone else experienced this and is it going to hit me again when i do my next injection?

Hopefully it will get less and less as time goes by and your body acclimates the meds.  You have to really realize what your poor body is going through right now trying to do all that its doing.  Once the body is accustomed to all the changes...it's not as tough.

I had really bad fog and riba rage in the beginning but after a few months I kind of forgot all about it and it disappeared. IN the beginning we are also so scared that we look for every side that can be and most times blame EVERYTHING on treatment - after a while you sort of forget and it gets better.

Good luck.  Write lots of notes and make sure you start putting your car keys in the same place all of the time...get a little AM/PM box for your pills so you know that you've taken them (I used to take them with breakfast and then with dinner so it was like another reminder for me).  You'll be ok just hang in there.

Just part of the sx from treatment.  Most people experience this.  Some days are worse than others but definitely something you will have to go through.  I make myself many more notes than I used to and talk myself into focusing because my brain just wants to wander off.  Very aggrevating but I haven't found anything to make it go away completely.  Think of it as one of those inconviences you will go through but if you reach SVR  it will all be worth it.  Don't let the anxiety cause more confusion because it does.  Just be tough and don't let it beat you down.
Good Luck
