Pulling and praying for ya man! jerry
Is it possible that some epitopes have survived and may be staging a come back?
Brace yourself for a good helping of second guessing and phantom viral blossoming symptoms. Perfectly natural - but I don't think it's at all likely that anything you feel now or will feel will have any relationship to a potential recurrence of the virus. Just my 2 cents, FWIW....we stage 4's have a lot of skin in the game and EOT is a difficult time.
Take care.
Actually, there was another full dose in there before going to the 1/2 a week later. Yah, I figured the last push would be a bit tougher, but it did catch me by surprise. Well, what is done is done. I'll take an eighth in a week and then call it. Guess I will have to push the envelope on the river instead of with the peg. :>) Thanks.
Your re-entry heat shields may be degrading over time so consider faster transition to earth's atmosphere. In other words maybe time for the complete handover. But whatever you do, congratulations on your remarkable journey and all the best on planet SVR.

Kudos on finishing up the treatment and your TX plan, and did not mean to downgrade how you have completed your treatment and if it gets you to where you need to be and that is UND at post PCR’s… Congratulation!

You took two full doses in the week before you started the taper and a half dose the following week and then a quarter dose this week, is this right? Man, no wonder you feel like flu-phoo. What were you thinking! Did you not calculate the cumulative rolling effects of the tsunami wave? 96h to peak performance backed up by a couple of days then another 96h wave somewhere in the 75% range of the last wave and then the drop. You might want to cut the last quarter to an eight and wait 7 days for the final eight. Not that the final push is a bad thing but I did back off of my aspirations because of the cumulative effects that would hit going any higher than 1 ¼ 1 ¼ seven days apart then the reduction in a step down taper.
Gauf, I did feel the 180+1/4 I think, but I also upped the riba back to 1200mg and did not feel as bad as you have described but then again I was also on procrit during this time. Hope you feel better and would be interested in hearing what hr has to say also.

Could it be your own immune system coming back on line? I'm no HR but it would seem logical. When I finished my last tx (unsuccessful) I just stopped all meds on the appointed day, no taper, and I felt better almost immediately. Obviously my immune system never stepped up to the plate.
The other thing I noticed when I started my riba dose reduction recently I actually fet more tired for a period of time.
Anyway, I'm no scientist, just musing and looking forward to hearing from HR and how you progress as I am also considering tapering...
All the best,
Epi :)
p.s. When would you suggest (post tox), to resume the antiinflammatories. i.e. siliphos, curcumin, green tea, resveratrol.
