Has anyone , while doing tx. suffer from constant thrush? I've been on the losenge clotrimazole off and on for the last 5 months, but the minute I quit the drug it comes roaring back!!! Now the losenges aren't even helping, I've started taking 7 to 8 a day instead of 5 and gargling with salt water and that does help some and thats keeping it somewhat tolerable, my lips have thrush sores all over them, this is the most painful thing I've ever had. I called my family dr. for stronger drugs and she wanted to give me the "magic mouthwash" which I have used numerous times to no avail. I want a strong med. for this and I want to stay on it till I'm done with the meds.( I drink water nonstop, I love water)
Biotene products and magic mouthwash are the only two things I've heard of. I would suggest asking your doctor.
