Liver function test

My MD said that because my LFT'S dropped to normal within 8 weeks that it was a good sign. Anybody heard of this?  Sounds to me like it doesn't indicate one way or another if you are going to clear.

Thanks. My MD did not test at 4 or 8 weeks. I am having a viral load on Thurs. First one.

Before there were tests to quantify VL, they used LFTs as a crude indicator. Now that the VL can be quantified, there is no exuse, IMO, to rely on LFTs. You VL should be mmeasured at 4 weeeks and 8 weeks by highly sensitive testing.
