"This feature is way cool!  Even better than the colon cleansing ads! "

With doo respect - you apparently haven't clicked through to the best ads. Some of them display full color pictures of the evacuate (can that be used as a noun in this context?).

Anyway, kuddos to MH - they hit a homerun here....

leave out the .  (the period) at the end of the link above. If not, use this one. Copy and paste...   Marcia

Hi,

Going to answer a few quick questions:

1. When will he answer: Mt. Sinai is just getting going, so especially at the beginning they take a little bit to get into a routine of answering. We're working with them on how to navigate the site, etc. but he will be answering soon.

2. The answer will appear as an Answer, (a little different than a comment) right below the question. You'll also get an email when he replies.

3. Let me find out about Hepatitis B questions, but I believe it is just Hepatitis C.

Glad to see all the excitement!

So when we do ask a question where does the answer come in?  Does it get posted on that site as a post comment?  there isn't any response to any of the questions yet... Maybe I'm chafing at the bit?

He is the doctor I see at Mt Sinai.  He is very smart and he walked the mile right along with us.  He contracted HCV from a needle stick and did the treatment!

there is a period in that sentence --- and if you accidentally copy it --- then paste it into the address bar - it comes up funky... LOL!

So drop the period.

Hugs all.

4 questions a day?

AGGGGGGGGG.....

OK ok ok okokokokokokokokokokok ---- I'll wait... LOL!

I'm seriously hoping he specializes in post TX issues as well... and possible extrahepatic manifestations.

I also ---- TRULY hope --- that he understands side effects --- and isn't one of those doctors who advises:

"Here take this TX - you might feel a little flu like and nothing else --- see you in a couple weeks to draw your blood"

"You feel sick and achey? I'm sorry that's not a side effect of HCV or the TX"

"You're continuing to have sides - and our tests indicate that there is nothing wrong with you........... So it must be nothing."

I truly hope that this is a doctor who understands the depth and detail of HCV. Not just the medical jargon... But the truth of it.

And if Eric is advising he is good --- I'm gonna lay odds out that he is.

great idea....now here's hoping the same questions WE all can answer don't get asked of him over and over...

there is a 4 question a day limit......which means his time is at a premium.

Great idea!!  Always thinking of us patients/customers.  Oh yeah, Marcia2202, you're not alone.  In a world where too many doctors know nothing about HepC, this is genius!!  thanks

bandman,

that's exactly why I wrote that I love these guys! I would love to pick his brain. I'm gonna sit down and come up with some really intelligent questions.

Are you catching the period at the end by accident? It's also on the right hand side in the Related Communities if you just want to go right to it.
