Also, my husband and I found it very helpful to have a pill reminder alarm set up. I bought him a cell phone (he needed a new one anyway) on the first day of triple therapy, and it has a specific pill reminder function. It's pretty handy. I set a reminder for every day at the times that he needs to take his medication and once a week on Fri. at the time he needs to take his injection. I entered the info once (name of meds, dosage, etc.), and it is set until I change it. It even has the capability to take a picture of the medication so that if he forgets whether it's purple or pink at that particular time (even though it's all in the pill organizer) he can look at the screen. All of those pills and dosages during the first 12 weeks were overwhelming, and this phone really helped.

Hi There...I'm thinkin we can't be too organized. Thank you for your suggestion.I really enjoy your heartfelt posts to all, regardless of the topic and am so happy for your recent weeks news...Seems as though you have made it to the mountain top and can see the other side.....Nice work.
Before I began tx, the NP at the liver clinic, showed me to put a triangle on each day I did my shots ( I did them on Thursday's also)
Then the following Wednesday, I put a circle on the calendar with the number 1, in it. That was my lab day, for weekly labs, and the end of week one.
At week 4, she had me put a double circle to show it was the day for my monthly lab.
Hope that's clear. It was very simple but so helpful as I got further into treatment, and more brainfogged.
Very nice. Everyday that I can mark off is...well...another day. Thank you so much.
Indeed. Have the organizer and it is great. Hope all of my problems are of this magnitude. Thank you.
just wondering if you have a pill organizer...i got one from walmart for 7 days...each day had 4 places for pills...it really makes that part easy....good luck...billy
