I didn"t think your question was at all annoying...I was just trying to point out that no-one will be able to answer the same question you already asked any differently.

The visit to the specialist and the appropriate blood tests will be able to  definitely tell you what is going on.

Also ..I was trying to give you an idea that might be causing your bruising, and Pam has also come up with another good test to have run.

hope you continue to ask questions....just don"t think we can come up with a different answer tho to the same one.   :)

Also, if you do find out you have HCV, ask the Dr. to run a test for cryoglobulins. HCV and cryoglobulinemia often go hand in hand. I had similar spots on my legs and had a positive cryo test. After tx, they subsided and cryo tested negative. Just a head's up....

Good luck with your next appointment, Pam

In a previous post a few days ago we told you that you need further blood tests to confirm this.

Again...your specialist should run theses test when you see him/her. No-one here can tell you definitively whether or not you have active HCV.

As far as the bruising ...did your primary doctor run a platlets blood test,,,if these are low often bruising can occur.

Good luck with the specialist
