Hep A can be transmitted very easily, so I think everyone agrees that it is important to have. There is some disagreement about the hep B vaccine. Most people go ahead and get it; however, there is a small percentage of people who are seriously adversely affected by the hepB vaccine. Therefore, some people who feel they are unlikely to contract it prefer not to subject themselves to the risks associated with the hep B vaccine.
