Log drop question...

I finally was able to get copies of my blood work. When I was first tested I had a 11,400,000 VL with a HCV RNA Log of 7.06. At week 4 I had a 299 VL with a 2.48 log. Is this good. Do you think I'll be able to continue treatment after my 12th week. My hepatologist says they will stop me at 12 weeks if I don't have a EVA. I think I'm on target...what do you think?

This is awesome news...I'm so happy for you..

I just submitted to an 8 week Heptimax test..my numbers were so promising @ 4 weeks, I HAVE to see if I'm UND by week 8.

Let's just keep plugging away at this, hon. We are woman.  Hear us & fear us...cuz we rock!

Thank you so much for your words of encouragement! I've been reading your posts and know what a trial and tribulation you went through to become SVR. My heart goes out to you.

Kathy try not to worry if you get blasted - we've all been there and said the wrong things on here before.  Mostly, people DO care it's just ego gets in the way sometimes (for all of us) and we all like to think we are the smartest of them all ;)

Anyway congrats on your log drop.  The docs shouldn't have any reason to discontinue you at week 12 - if you were not UND at week 24 yes but I don't expect that is going to be a problem for you at all.

Make sure you continue to take every dose right on time and kick this sucker in the gut!

GOOD LUCK.

Thanks Pitter! It is always wonderful to hear from you! I had made an earlier posting by a couple of weeks about my log drop, but I gave the wrong information and got blasted. I was so used to platelet information which is measured in the thousands that I put my VL in the thousands when it really was much much better. How are you doing?

I've been reading your texts for quite a while and appreciate your opinion! Thanks I thought it was good but I'm so hesitant from thinking too positive. I hate the dissappointment too much.
