Madaus' Legalon
I have been reading a lot lately on the subject of Milk Thistle and found that the German company Madaus makes Legalon (top grade milk thistle) just was wondering if anyone has taken Legalon..
yes, I think so, but only if the amount of silymarin is similar. Have a close look to the units! There are other products around (eg vitamins) where they use high numbers to cheat the customers: 100 ug sounds more than 1mg, but it is not.
Well thank you for the info.. so you would say a GNC standardized Milk Thistle would be the same?
I am from Germany and know Legalon well. It is the originator of Milk Thistle preparations. The quality is not different from generic brands, if you have a look to the standardisations. The quality is defined by the amount of silymarin. Compare the products by the amount of silymarin.
