Med for hep C

My father has had hep c for9 years and is now with out medical insurance. he has had no medicine for the past 2 months due 2 not being able 2 afford them. Does anyone know of any place that could help with his medicines in the state of Virginia?

I'm taking Pegasys, and in their documentation they say that they have a program for people who can't pay... See Trinity's post above.

Get him back on the meds asap because you don't want the virus to develop more resistance or he'll have a real hard getting rid of it.

Hi, you could start with the county in which you live.  There are clinics where people can go who do not have insurance.  Also he could check with some of the drug companies.  I have seen ads on TV that offer help to people who can not afford meds.  If he can't find info he could ask a doctor or a pharmacist may have knowledge.  There may be someone who is in the same boat and can give you the information
