It is very unlikely that hep c will cause Costochondritis, but of course you should check with your doctor to especially rule out heart disease.
Costochondritis is an inflammation of the junctions where the upper ribs join with the cartilage that holds them to the breastbone, or sternum. The condition causes localized chest pain that you can reproduce by pushing on the cartilage in the front of your ribcage. Costochondritis is a relatively harmless condition and usually goes away without treatment.
Causes:
Viral: Costochondritis commonly occurs with viral respiratory infections because of the inflammation of the area from the viral infection itself, or from straining from coughing.
Bacterial: Costochondritis may occur after surgery and be caused by bacterial infections.
Fungal: Fungal infections are rare causes of costochondritis.
Well diagnosticians I think means broken rib
I think nobody is responding for several reasons. One there are often less people here on the weekends, and this is a holiday weekend.
And secondly, I don't think many of us have any idea what costochondritis is.
I've never heard of it which makes me doubt it has anything to do with hep C.
Finally, you don't even know whether or not you have hep C. A simple blood test will reveal that for you.
Also, hep C tends to be asymptomatic until it has caused damage which takes years.
Someone should please reply me
