How are things in the new practice? hope you are well and settled.
TY for checking on us
UT Southwestern in Dallas has several clinical trials open that include the works and may or maynot require liver biopsy. The doctors name is Dr. Lee (I think) but Cory Wentworth is the PA who pretty much runs the show. I dont know much more but a little footwork should reveal somemore resources. The local county hospital may have a GI or internist who can run the preliminaries and in their systems your friend may get reduced cost care. She should look into public assistance medical care if she qualifies.

hey sweetie, i'm glad you are full speed ahead into your life...have you heard from couch? we kind of worry not knowing anything....anyone lives close to the city that can bring a laptop to her to post? ...just a thought.
You are a great friend to be checking this out for her! Revenire had some great resources for you there. I know that there is all kinds of clinicals out there,,,You just have to do the search and legwork. I don't know if she even has a computer but you can find some amazing things on internet if you have the time to research which would be well worth because these meds are unbelieveable how high they are. Good luck and Hope you are doing good so far on meds and hanging in there!!
